Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald gave his assessment of the county at 12:30pm. Governor John Kasich is scheduled to deliver the annual State of the State address tonight in Lima at 6:30pm. It will air on 90.3 at 9:00pm, and WVIZ-PBS at 11:00.
Two politicians who may face each other in the run for Ohio Governor in 2014 are delivering important speeches today.
Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald gave his assessment of the county in the early afternoon. In his roughly 40 minute speech, he said that Cuyahoga County’s budget is balanced for the next two years, Cleveland’s developing medical mart will be getting a name change, and the culture of corruption is long gone from county leadership. We’ll have highlights later on All Things Considered
Governor John Kasich delivers the annual State of the State address tonight in Lima at 6:30pm. It will air on 90.3 at 9:00pm. We’ll have reports on Kasich’s presentation on Morning Edition.
FitzGerald is one of several Democrats considering a bid to unseat Kasich in 2014.
