Ohio's senators seem ready to support some form of stricter regulations, as President Obama is set to unveil proposals to fight gun violence today. His action stems from the Newtown, Connecticut shootings that killed 20 children and 6 adults. Sam Hendren of Ohio public radio station WOSU reports.
Both Senator Rob Portman and Senator Sherrod Brown are open to restrictions on high capacity ammo clips and assault weapons.
Both think it is a broader question though, than just being about guns.
