Ohio Gov. John Kasich isn’t giving many details about where he intends to hold this year’s State of the State address.
Kasich has said it will be in the western part of Ohio and will have to satisfy a couple of criteria.
KASICH: “Well you want to do a little geography. You want to go to a market that’s not real big, where people get excited, which is exactly what we saw last year. We just kick it around, and it’s really that simple. You know, a good place to do it, a good auditorium and all of that, so you can do it the right way.”
Last year, Kasich held his State of the State address in Steubenville. In previous administrations, the State of the State has been held at the Ohio Statehouse but since Kasich has taken office, he’s elected to take the show on the road.
