Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown

Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown defends the President's standing pat on what House Speaker John Boehner has flatly rejected - raising the tax rate on the wealthy.

As the debate in Washington continues over how to solve the standoff over taxes, spending and the fiscal cliff, most of the attention is on the key players - primarily President Obama and Republican House Speaker John Boehnor.  But in the end, it’s all members of Congress who will vote on any deal the leaders come up with.  ideastream’s Bill Rice spoke with Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, who defends the President’s standing pat on what Speaker Boehner has flatly rejected - raising the tax rate on the wealthy.
