There are many ways to cope with trauma and grief; we hear now about one man's experience. An accomplished local cardiologist, Dr. Terry Gordon saw his life take a turn after a car accident left his son a quadriplegic. Since then, he's focused on how to rebound from the tragedy, and help others do the same. Spirituality was central to his own coping in the the aftermath of the accident, and in speaking with ideastream's Anne Glausser, he offered one perspective on how to heal.
Dr. Terry Gordon will be speaking at the University of Akron on Tuesday November 13th.
