Utica Shale Producing Strong Results

Several energy companies say they’re pleased with their natural gas production results in the Utica Shale.
The Akron Beacon Journal reports Gulfport Energy Corp.has one of the three best producing wells in the state. The company plans to drill 400 wells in Ohio over the next four years. (Check out the story here)
And Chesapeake Energy—the largest oil and gas player in Ohio’s Utica Shale—also says their wells are producing nicely. (check out the story here)
