Lawmaker Asks U.S. Attorney General To Monitor Voting In Ohio County

A state lawmaker from Cincinnati says the federal government needs to step in to oversee voting in Hamilton County this fall. Representative Alicia Reece tells Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles she's asking U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to step in and send federal monitors to her home county in November.

A state lawmaker from Cincinnati says the federal government needs to step in to oversee voting in Hamilton County this fall. Representative Alicia Reece tells Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles she’s asking U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to step in and send federal monitors to her home county in November.  She says the request stems from discrepancies there in counting provisional ballots miscast due to poll worker error back in 2010.
