The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says unemployment rates in most Northeast Ohio counties in October were substantially below the statewide jobless rate of 10.5%. New numbers were released this morning, and show wide variations WITHIN the state. Three Northeast Ohio counties were among only six with rates below 8%, while the city of Cleveland had a 10.5% unemployment rate in October, and the city of Akron had a 10.4% jobless rate. Ohio Public Radio's Bill Cohen has other details.
