Ohio Stories chronicles significant and interesting events and people from Ohio's history. It will give students an overview of Ohio using a storytelling, people-acquainting approach. The series is consistent with many widely-used social studies texts and can be readily integrated into the traditional fourth through eighth grade curriculum, and meets a number of the proficiency requirements for citizenship. Dr. George Knepper, Distinguished Professor of History, Emeritus, The University of Akron, is the scholarly backbone for this series.
