There are many options to experience WVIZ/PBS ideastream’s Professional Learning Opportunities!

In person Professional Learning Opportunities are held at Idea Center at PlayhouseSquare,
 1375 Euclid Avenue,

Professional Learning Opportunities are also held at Lorain County Community College

Professional learning held at The Idea Center includes a snack and/or light meal and complimentary parking in the PlayhouseSquare Garage.

Receive one graduate credit hour for select workshops for an additional fee of $150 from The University of Akron or Ashland University.

Interactive Student Response Systems
Cost: $1,500 (includes a class set of 24 response systems) or $1,739 (includes a class set of 32 response systems).All purchases include one 3-hour training session for three participants, $100 for each additional participant. Easily conduct multiple assessments, track student learning, and engage your entire class with a TurningPoint student response system.

AVerVision Document Camera
Cost: $950 (includes one AVerVision CP300 Document Camera and training for two participants) or $1,800 (includes two AVerVision CP300 Document Cameras
and training for four participants) Add $100 for each additional participant.  Be on your way to improving attention, retention, and test scores by using this exciting visual technology presenter.

Elmo Document Camera
Cost: $950 (includes one Elmo TT-02s Document Camera and training for two participants) or $1,800 (includes two Elmo TT-02s Document Cameras
and training for four participants) Add $100 for each additional participant. Be on your way to improving attention, retention, and test scores by using this exciting visual technology presenter.

Mimio Interactive
Cost: $1,100 (includes one mimio interactive bar and wireless device and training for (1) three hour training session for three participants) $100 for each additional participant.  Create a dynamic, inexpensive, interactive work surface with mimio® interactive.

A Technology Concierge at Your School
Cost: $400 for the three hours.  Is your staff experiencing trouble with tasks in Microsoft Office, the SMART Board, or any other technology? An ideastream® staff member will visit your school for three hours and conduct small group sessions or and/or visit classrooms.

A SMART Board for Your Classroom
Cost: $1,535* (64” SMART Board) or $1,799* (77” SMART Board) Either SMART Board includes (1) three hour training session for five participants) $100 for each additional participant. Receive a SMART Board and learn how you can use it to help improve attention, retention and test scores in your classroom by making computer usage an interactive and collaborative experience.(*Additional cost for shipping)
