About the Program

Do you have a toothache? Does your child need help brushing? Know someone older who no longer has the dexterity needed for good flossing? Are you a teenager with a tongue ring? Or are you unable to afford dental care? Tooth decay is the most common chronic disease among children and almost half of elderly Ohioans have lost teeth to gum disease or decay. We'll explain how oral health not only affects your mouth but your whole body, and highlight the mounting evidence that connects gum disease to debilitating and costly problems including diabetes and heart disease.
