Many factors contribute to childhood obesity, but research is now showing that a mother can be increasing the odds that their children are obese. A woman’s weight before and during pregnancy has been linked to a child’s risk of being overweight or obese. Now, scientists are trying to figure out what it is in the body that causes this.
This list of screenings is free and include some or all of the following obesity-related tests: blood pressure, blood glucose, body mass index and cholesterol.
