Pat LeGrand - or Chef Pat to her students - is a registered dietitian. She teaches people who live in Cleveland’s poorest neighborhoods how to cook healthy meals on a limited budget. ideastream health reporter Kay Colby visited a class and found out Chef Pat doesn't mind fast food - so long as it’s made at home.
Chef Pat’s cooking classes are part of a pilot project involving Case Western Reserve University, the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority and the Ohio State University Extension.
