A follow-up on William Baker's fight against fat, originally broadcast on the special "Fighting Fat."

William Baker

William Baker - the 45-year-old stay-at-home dad from Avon - is the official winner of the Winter 2010 Extreme Loser weight loss competition at the EMH Center for Health and Fitness. Baker, who has battled weight issues most of his adult life, shared his story on ideastream’s Fighting Fat television show that premiered on WVIZ/PBS on April 8, 2010.

Baker lost a total of 66 pounds in the Winter Extreme Loser Program. When he first got involved with the program in the Fall of 2009, Baker weighed 283 pounds. At the final weigh-in for the Winter competition, he was down to 196 pounds. His waist - which once measured 55 inches - is now down to 39 inches.
