A special edition of Feagler & Friends

Charlise Lyles, author, Do I Dare Disturb the Universe?
She was a child of the Cleveland projects who’s gone on to a successful career in journalism. She wrote of her journey in her book, recently updated and re-issued by Cleveland’s Gray & Company. After spending her early adolescence in the King-Kennedy Estates, she got the chance to attend the prestigious Hawken School where she embraced the academic challenges she’d been craving. After Hawken and college, she was ready for a journalism career, which continues, with a focus on coverage of public education. During her life’s journey, she’s met an unforgettable cast of Cleveland characters you’ll meet in Do I Dare Disturb the Universe? From the Projects to Prep School: A Memoir.

Gretchen Cuda, ®ideastream; medical reporter: joins Mr. Feagler for conversation and an excerpt from “Heart Stories: Confronting the Nation's #1 Killer,” a program describing local efforts to combat heart disease. “Heart Stories” re-airs Sunday, May 10 at 3:00 p.m. on WVIZ/PBS.
