Ohio Educational Standards: Science Standards

All WVIZ/PBS & 90.3 WCPN ideastream professional learning sessions offered to educators are aligned to the current Ohio Academic Content Standards and the Revised Ohio Academic Content Standards (adopted 2010 – implementation begins 2014). As well, ideastream aligns each professional learning session with standards that key national education organizations have identified as important skills for the 21st century learner.

Each professional learning session offered to teachers in the area of science made available through ideastream supports the integration of science into content areas and the science inquiry learning cycle. The science standards addressed in the ideastream professional learning include:

All professional learning sessions made available to teaching professionals by ideastream are fully aligned to the Ohio Academic Content Standards.
