Ohio Educational Standards: Mathematics Standards

All WVIZ/PBS & 90.3 WCPN ideastream professional learning sessions offered to educators are aligned to the current Ohio Academic Content Standards and the Revised Ohio Academic Content Standards (adopted 2010 – implementation begins 2014). As well, ideastream aligns each professional learning session with standards that key national education organizations have identified as important skills for the 21st century learner.

Each professional learning session offered to teachers in the area of mathematics made available through ideastream supports the integration of mathematics into content areas. The mathematics standards addressed in the ideastream professional learning include:

• Ohio Mathematics Academic Content Standards and Common Core State Standards
• National Council of Teacher of Mathematics’ Standards for School Mathematics: PreK - Grade 12
• Ohio Technology Standards
• Partnership for 21st Century Skills: 21st Century Student Outcomes
• National Education Technology Standards for Students
• National Education Technology Standards for Teachers

All professional learning sessions made available to teaching professionals by ideastream are fully aligned to the Ohio Academic Content Standards.
