BBC radio host Ros Atkins will be bringing World Have Your Say to WCPN in order to highlight Ohio’s importance in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. The BBC’s World Have Your Say is the only regular world-wide call-in program, reaching millions of listeners on six continents every day. The program’s visit to Cleveland this month marks the fourth time the show has originated from Cleveland: the first having occurred in November of 2006.
In addition to his on air broadcasts, Mr. Atkins has graciously agreed to meet with your students, on Friday October 19th, from 10:00 TO 11:00 A.M., to discuss his career in broadcasting, similarities and differences between the BBC and U.S. radio and his perspective on the November 6th American Election. WVIZ ideastream Director of Programming, David Kanzeg will host the program.
