In the very near future, a student sitting in an Ohio classroom is going to design or engineer a new machine that will change the way people live or work. On Thursday morning, September 23, representatives in the Product Design and Development Division of MAGNET, the Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network, will tell why they have chosen to study design and engineering and apply their knowledge to the world of Manufacturing.
You will have the opportunity to see where and how they work and use their skills to help companies improve existing products and create cool new ones. The program will illustrate how art and science blend in the exciting world of advanced manufacturing.
