President & CEO, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society
Broadband Speakers Series
HIMSS, a cause-based, not-for-profit organization focused on improving healthcare through the best use of information technology and management systems, has made a significant investment in Cleveland by choosing Cleveland’s Global Center for Health Innovation, as the hub of the HIMSS Innovation Center. Stephen Lieber, President/CEO, will share his vision of how Cleveland and Northeast Ohio can be the epicenter of health IT innovation and how high-speed fiber optic networks are critical to creating healthcare innovations.
About the Forum
OneCommunity, in partnership with The City Club of Cleveland, has developed the Broadband: Understanding the Fiber of our Region speaker series to foster thoughtful discussion on how we can come together to best position Northeast Ohio to be a national leader in the innovative use of broadband and technology to drive our economy, our governments, our schools and the success of our citizens.
Continuing the Dialogue
To continue the dialog after each City Club forum, a panel of regional experts will participate in an open, online forum hosted by the Civic Commons. Visit http://theciviccommons.com/knowbroadband to participate.
Health, Science, Technology
The City Club of Cleveland firmly believes in the free expression of all ideas and the benefits of an open exchange. It is non-partisan and does not take positions on issues. All speakers must answer unfiltered, unrehearsed questions directly from the audience.
