Governor John Kasich’s Proposed State Budget

A 20% cut in the state’s income tax, an expansion of sales tax, Medicaid expansion and school funding are the big issues to come out of Governor Kasich’s proposed state budget.

The City Club will host a discussion of these suggestions and more with:

John Begala, Executive Director, The Center for Community Solutions
Scott Shane, A. Malachi Mixon, III Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies and Professor of Economics at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University

They will discuss the pros and cons of the Governor’s budget and the next steps in the process.
