Million Dollar Quartet, Lorin Maazel and Dianne Reeves Two creators of the musical Million Dollar Quartet, featuring music from four legendary musicians, stopped by in 2011 to share their experience with the Tony-Award-winning show, and Dee Perry is sharing it with you again. Plus, we hear from WCLV's Jackie Gerber and Conductor Brett Mitchell on the late Lorin Maazel and then Grammy-winning singer Dianne Reeves wraps us up by performing live.

Additional Information

Eric Schaeffer and Chuck Mead, co-creators of Million Dollar Quartet, talk about their experience with the show that revolves around a recording session with Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. The show is available at the Ohio Theatre through July 27.

Lorin Maazel, a conductor, violinist and composer, passed away Sunday at 84. We take a look back at WCLV’s Jackie Gerber’s conversation with Composer Brett Mitchell about the late musician.

Jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves performs live just in time for her appearance at Cain Park with special guest Fredericks Brown.
