Photographer Daniel Mainzer stops by our studio to share the details of his latest photo essay on life in the Rubber Industry after a decade of documentation. Next, we see how business is blooming in this year's Garden Walk Cleveland, and Mark Souther, history professor at Cleveland State University, gives us the scoop on the history of marketing in Cleveland in time for Happy Dog University.

Additional Information

Daniel Mainzer, a local photographer, spent 10 years documenting life at the Firestone and General Tire plants, and now he’s ready to share the stories and why he believes tire production could come to a close in Akron. His photos are on sale online.

Two garden owners, Sandra Robertson and Alex, join us to shed some light on the annual Garden Walk Cleveland, which takes place July 12 and 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., where you can admire gardens, urban farms, vineyards and orchards in several Cleveland neighborhoods.

For the next Happy Dog University event, Cleveland State University History Professor Mark Souther prepares a description of the history of marketing in Cleveland. The event will take place at the Happy Dog on July 8 at 7:30 p.m.
