Freedom Summer, Jared Bendis and David Amram Dee Perry previews the upcoming PBS special Freedom Summer, which details the hardships in Mississippi during the Civil Rights Movement. Plus, Jared Bendis catches us up on the latest technology news and later we get to hear live music from Composer David Amram.

Bruce Watson, Author who inspired the PBS documentary Freedom Summer sits down to tell us about the special that reflects on a particularly rough period of time in the Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi. Freedom Summer premieres Tuesday, June 24.

Composer David Amram performs live to preview his guest appearance at the 2014 Roberto Ocasio 10th Anniversary Latin Jazz Music Camp from now until June 28 at Case Western Reserve University.
