Horace Silver, Omar Vizquel and Natalie MacMaster Jazz musician Horace Silver passed away Wednesday at 85; Dee Perry listens back on a chat with him on Sound of Applause. Also, in light of baseball player Omar Vizquel's upcoming induction into the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame, we revisit when he shared how he balances his love for baseball and painting. Plus, Dan Polletta talks to fiddler Natalie MacMaster about how she balances her roles as musician and mother.

Jazz musician Horace Silver passed away Wednesday at 85.

Omar Vizquel, one of the best shortstops in the history of the Cleveland Indians and Major League Baseball, will be inducted into the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame this Saturday, June 21. We take a look back at his conversation with us on balancing his two longtime passions: baseball and art.

Fiddler Natalie McMaster joins us to tell us about her upcoming performance at Cain Park this Sunday, June 22. Plus, we hear about her plans to record another album this fall.
