Dee Perry shares her conversation with former Great Lakes Theater artistic director Gerald Freedman and his protege Vicky Bussert. Plus we meet a rising star of New York theater who's originally from Lakewood - Dave Malloy - creator of the off-Broadway hit Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. And we hear from the president of The Chautauqua Institution - Tom Becker - who comes to Cleveland tonight to speak at South Franklin Circle.

Gerald Freedman was artistic director of Great Lakes Theater 1985-1997, while Victoria Bussert is currently the company’s resident director.

Dave Malloy is the creator of Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812.
