From time to time we have a guests on the show who impress us so much that we think our viewers might enjoy seeing their entire interview and performance, including the parts that initially wound up on the cutting room floor.
That was the case with the band Armstrong Bearcats: a trio of veteran musicians with Butch Armstrong on guitar, Michael Barrick on bass and Billy Coakley on drums - band mates who have been playing music most of their lives. The group has been around for decades, and they’ve shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, like ZZ Top, the Allman Brothers, and Tower of Power.
Their recent CD is Stronger Than Ever. The title reflects the band’s longevity, their hard-driving brand of blues and rock and roll, and their very big sound.
